As a Manufacturer:
RMA manufactures and supplies decorative particles in virtually any
size (Typically 1/4" to 250 microns) or color, specifically formulated for the unique
applications of the Plastic Industry.

Injection Molding |
Unfilled acrylic formulated to soften without
melting to avoid damaging the molding equipment. Upon cooling, the chip will retain
its original shape and hardness. |
Extrusion |
High Temperature polyester; the percentage of filler
is determined by the specific application and finished product specification. These
chips are currently being formulated and produced with PVC, Polyolfins, Engineering
Resins and Glass Filled Resins |
Seamless Floors |
A very light (Specific Gravity Approx 1.19)
extremely hard (MOH Hardness 3.5) chip capable of providing decorative patterns, slip
resistance and depth to either epoxy or urethane floor systems. |
Tile/Continuous Floors |
Providing both weight and health benefits over slag
or silica, acrylic chips tend to bond with PVC materials resolving the problems associated
with other chips that release from flooring materials. These unfilled chips
eliminate the problems of dust and equipment wear of filled chips. |
