RMA Low Gloss -
- CP 90LG is a Special Purpose PVC suspension resin
designed to control Homopolymer gloss in flexible extrusion, molding and calendering
compounds. CP 90LG is made by a unique polymerization process
that will allow the compounder formulator to select this product as an effective low cost
additive to develop the desired satin or matte finish in the product.
This resin has excellent porosity, low gels, good color and will blend with other PVC
resins from low to high levels without reducing physical properties, and with slight
variations in processing conditions.

RMA Low Gloss -
- CP 90LG has been used to replace ABS in calendered
Vinyl Film for automotive (Van) panel to produce a "Matte" finish by the U.S.
Automotive Industry.
- The LG resin used at approximately 30% level produced increased Hot Strength to the
calendered vinyl sheet. This was equal to, or better than, blends made with Nitrile Rubber
ABS or SAN polymers.
- Formulation made with the LG resin showed increased physical strength (Tinsel, Tear,
abrasion, resistance).
- Sheet made with LG resin is easily thermoformable, and has excellent Grain and Low Gloss
retention when subjected to post heat applications.
- Compound passed all automotive long term testing!
